Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC is seeking a Telecom Drill Bores Operator to install underground telecommunications cables and infrastructure. You will determine bore paths, locate utilities, and operate drill equipment safely in various weather conditions.

Qualified candidates will hold a Class A CDL with tanker endorsement (or willingness to obtain), have a high school diploma or GED, and be authorized to work in the United States. We offer weekly pay, PTO, benefits, and training.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience with drilling equipment and bore setup/design processes.

Responsibilities

• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete tasks.
• Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path.
• Use Mud mixing systems.
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
• Site setup, cleanup, and equipment maintenance.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
