Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC is seeking a Traveling Telecomm Drill Bores Operator to install underground telecom cables and infrastructure. You will operate drill equipment, locate utilities, and manage bore paths while traveling to job sites.

The role offers weekly pay, PTO, and benefits with strong training and safety emphasis; candidates must be 18+, hold a valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it, and be able to travel up to 100%.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 and legal authorization to work in the US.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain.
• Experience with drilling equipment and bore operations.

Responsibilities

• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path.
• Utilize mud mixing systems.
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
• Responsible for site set-up, clean-up, and equipment maintenance.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Up to 100% travel.
• Other duties as assigned.
