Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC seeks a Telecom Drill Bores Operator to operate drill equipment and install underground telecommunications cables and infrastructure.

You will determine bore path, locate utilities, and maintain bore schedule while working in all weather. 18+, valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement preferred or willingness to obtain; clean driving record; High School Diploma or GED; authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience operating drilling equipment and understanding bore design processes.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path.
• Utilize mud mixing systems.
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
• Responsible for site set-up, clean-up and equipment maintenance.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
