Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC is seeking a Traveling Telecom Drill Bores Operator to determine bore paths and safely install underground telecom cables. You will operate drilling equipment, verify utilities, and manage bore schedules in varying weather conditions.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, a valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it, and experience with drilling equipment. Expect competitive wages and field-based work with strong safety practices.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• Experience with drilling equipment and bore operations.

Responsibilities

• Determine bore path and locate utilities
• Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete assigned tasks
• Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path
• Utilize “Mud” mixing systems
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule
• Responsible for site set-up, clean-up, and equipment maintenance
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned
