Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC is seeking a Traveling Telecom Drill Bores Operator to install underground telecom cables and infrastructure. You will determine bore paths, locate utilities, and safely operate drill equipment in diverse sites.

Responsibilities include site setup, maintaining bore schedules, and performing equipment maintenance in all weather, with opportunities for growth and field training. A CDL and drilling experience are required or commitments to obtain the CDL.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience with drilling equipment and related processes.

Responsibilities

• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Safely operate and control equipment to complete tasks.
• Verify utilities by potholing to determine bore path.
• Utilize mud mixing systems.
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
• Site set-up, clean-up, and equipment maintenance.
• Work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
