Job summary

Turner Construction Co. seeks a seasoned professional to supervise Special Systems on a traveling assignment for an Advanced Technology project, covering Data Centers and related markets.

You will guide installation, scheduling, and coordination across disciplines to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and quality. You will coordinate with engineers, designers, and subcontractors, promote safety, and support turnover through startup, testing, and closeout.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with progressive responsibility in Special Systems/Low Voltage and IT Infrastructure
• Experience with installation of major Special Systems and IT Infrastructure components
• Knowledge of TIA/EIA and BICSI standards
• Ability to read, understand and interpret contract docs, drawings, specs, schedules
• Knowledge of construction costs, scheduling and various building systems

Responsibilities

• Oversee Special Systems installation per contract documents, schedule, quality control, field operations, and staffing
• Develop Special Systems schedule with engineering coordination and installation
• Coordinate with EH&S and ensure subcontractors comply with safety standards
• Lead coordination with disciplines (HVAC, mechanical, electrical, fire protection)
• Resolve issues related to procedures, design clarifications, labor, equipment, and schedule
• Oversee QC plan, lessons learned, and turnover processes
