Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a Senior Special Systems Superintendent for a full-time traveling assignment supporting Advanced Technology projects, including Data Centers, Pharmaceutical, and EV/Battery sectors. The role requires supervising Special Systems across multiple trades, on-site coordination, and ensuring safety and schedule adherence.

Travel will be 70-80% to project sites, with Columbus, OH as a key location.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience with progressive responsibility and exposure to construction design, cost, sequence, logistics and field installations of substantial Special Systems/Low Voltage systems and IT Infrastructure components.
• Experience with installation of one or more major Special Systems and IT Infrastructure components, required.
• Working knowledge of TIA/EIA and BICSI.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Special Systems installation in compliance with approved contract documents, scheduling, logistics, quality control, field operations, WIP (Work in Place), and provide Special Systems technical guidance to project.
• Develop Special Systems schedule, comprehensive of engineering coordination and installation.
• Follow established project safety program and ensure subcontractors comply with Turner standards and applicable safety codes and regulations.
• Manage relationships with Special Systems subcontractors and Trade employees and oversee Special Systems work across Trades to promote and coordinate project operations.
• Lead coordination of Special Systems with other disciplines such as heating, ventilation, mechanical, electrical, and fire protection.
• Document and resolve Special Systems project issues related to procedures, design clarifications, labor, equipment, and schedule.
