Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety professional for a traveling assignment on a Critical Facilities-Data Centers project in Houston, TX. You will lead EH&S on a single site, enforce policies, and drive safety improvements across the project team.

You will develop training, assess exposures, and ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations and owner requirements. Strong communication and leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in safety/related field with strong construction safety experience.
• CHST certification required or within 2 years of appointment.
• Completed OSHA 30-hour training; maintain First Aid/CPR/BBP/AED.
• Knowledge of Federal, State, and local EH&S regulations.
• Proven ability to lead safety programs on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead EH&S on a single construction project, enforcing policies and procedures.
• Develop action plans to mitigate risks and drive safety improvements.
• Train project teams on environmental health, safety, and OSHA standards.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and owner contract requirements.
• Collaborate with leadership to produce safety reports and metrics.
