Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Site Manager to lead construction and start‑up on power projects. The role requires mobilizing to sites, managing planning, schedules, budgets, and safety programs while coordinating with Owner and Contractors.

Strong leadership, cost control, and Commissioning expertise are essential. Union management experience is preferred and relocation may be required for project assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 10+ years experience on similar projects in construction management.
• No degree required with 15+ years experience with 5+ years in a construction management role on smaller projects or 3 years as a Site Manager.
• All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements including background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for successful execution of the construction and start-up of the project.
• Leads the site management team and interfaces with Owner and Contract representatives.
• Directs planning, cost control, safety, quality and commissioning activities on site.
• Manages resources, schedules, procurement, and subcontractor coordination to meet budgets.
