Black & Veatch Family of Companies is seeking a Site Manager for projects in the US. The role requires mobilizing to active construction sites and leading a multi-discipline team to deliver on safety, quality, and schedule targets.

The position emphasizes strong leadership, adherence to CPPM, and effective collaboration with owners and subcontractors. Candidates should have a track record on large power or multi‑discipline construction projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 10+ years experience on similar projects in construction management role with a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Site Manager.
• No degree required with 15+ years experience with 5+ years in a construction management role on smaller projects or 3 years as a Site Manager.
• All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search).

Responsibilities

• Update and complete the Construction Execution Plan.
• Directs overall construction effort including coordination of erection activities, suppliers, direct hire craft labor, subcontractors, startup and testing.
• Directs implementation of the Construction Processes and Procedures Manual (CPPM) and ensures deviations are submitted when necessary.
• Manages overall construction and startup cost to meet established budgets.
• Reviews, analyzes, and reports monthly on project construction budget, schedule, and quality performance.
• Leads the site management team.
• Directs safety, quality, and commissioning plans to ensure targets are met.
• Establishes site staffing needs and mentors staff.
