Job summary

Overland Contracting Inc. seeks an experienced Site Manager to lead the construction, startup, and turnover of simple cycle and combined cycle power projects.

You will provide day-to-day leadership for the site team, coordinate with craft labor, subcontractors, suppliers, startup teams, and the owner, and drive safe, high‑quality execution from mobilization through commissioning. As the primary site representative for Black & Veatch, you will align resources, manage budgets, and ensure safety,

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience on similar projects in construction management role with a Bachelor's degree.
• 8+ years experience with 3 years at superintendent level or above on large projects, or in construction management role on smaller projects without a Bachelor's degree.
• OSHA 10 certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead, update, and refine the Construction Execution Plan to support safe and efficient delivery of simple cycle and combined cycle construction activities.
• Oversee the full construction effort, including equipment erection, direct-hire craft labor, subcontractor coordination, suppliers, startup and testing activities, and owner interface.
• Manage construction and startup costs to support established project budgets while maintaining focus on safety, quality, and schedule performance.
