Black & Veatch is seeking a Senior Site Manager to lead construction, startup, and turnover of power projects across multiple sites. You will coordinate with craft labor, subcontractors, suppliers, and startup teams to ensure safe, high‑quality execution from mobilization through commissioning.

The role emphasizes leadership of the site team, cost control, schedule adherence, and strong safety culture, with opportunities across states like TX, OK, SC and GA.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience on similar projects in construction management role with a Bachelor's degree.
• 8+ years experience with 3 years at superintendent level or above on large projects.
• OSHA 10 Certification.
• Self-perform/direct-hire construction experience is strongly preferred, especially in similar power construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and update the Construction Execution Plan to support safe and efficient delivery of construction activities.
• Oversee the full construction effort including equipment erection, direct-hire craft labor, subcontractor coordination, suppliers, startup and testing activities, and owner interface.
• Manage construction and startup costs to support project budgets while maintaining safety, quality, and schedule performance.
• Direct change order management for subcontracts and coordinate with project manager to identify and execute changes.
• Mentor site staff and promote team building across internal and external partners.
