Black & Veatch is seeking a Traveling Site Manager to lead construction and startup activities on a major project in the US. You will direct the on-site team, maintain safety and quality, and manage budget and schedule while coordinating with owners and subcontractors.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in construction management, strong leadership, and a proven track record in site management. The role focuses on safety, Lean improvements, and performance-driven delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 10+ years on similar projects in construction management.
• /BNo degree required with 15+ years experience with 5+ years in a construction management role on smaller projects or 3 years as a Site Manager.
• All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (criminal/civil background check, drug screen, MVR) as per laws.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful execution of construction and startup of the project.
• Direct staff and coordinate on-site activities.
• Maintain safety targets and quality standards across the project.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and change orders.
• Mentor site staff and promote teamwork.
• Establish site staffing and liaise with the Project Manager.
