Black & Veatch is seeking a Site Manager for our Overland Park, KS headquarters with mobilization to field sites as needed. The role leads construction and startup activities on conventional power projects, emphasizing safety, cost control, and schedule adherence.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in construction management, with at least 3 years as a Site Manager. Union experience is preferred; strong leadership and a focus on safety are essential for success.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required with 10+ years experience on similar projects in construction management role with a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Site Manager.
• No degree required with 15+ years experience with 5+ years in a construction management role on smaller projects or 3 years as a Site Manager.

Responsabilidades

• Responsible for updating and completing the Construction Execution Plan.
• Directs overall construction effort including coordination of erection activities, suppliers, direct hire craft labor, subcontractors, startup and testing activities, and the owner.
• Leads the site management team and ensures safety targets are met and quality is achieved.
• Directs change order management for subcontracts and coordinates with project manager to identify and execute changes.
• Mentors site staff and maintains morale on the job site.
