Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in the Beaverton area is seeking a Project Manager 2 to provide direction on moderately complex projects and support the strategy, vision, and values of the firm.

The role involves leading safety culture, coordinating preconstruction activities, managing subcontracts, and developing project schedules to meet milestones. Travel and non-traditional hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered in lieu of the above requirements.
• 7+ years construction management experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and mentors staff to ensure an injury-free environment.
• Manages the prestart checklist form and related processes.
• Supports preconstruction activities including quantity takeoff, trade coordination and bid package development.
• Leads buyout schedule, pricing validation, and subcontractor management.
• Prepares, reviews and approves subcontractor submittals and shop drawings.
