Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Project Manager 1 to lead overall direction for a project or part of a larger endeavor. You will build relationships with clients, design teams, and subs while aligning with JE Dunn’s strategy and values.

You will drive planning, bidding, buyout, subcontracting, and change management, and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reporting. Travel and non-traditional hours may be required to meet project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years construction management experience with driver’s license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and investigate incidents; mentor staff.
• Manage prestart and preconstruction processes, including scope & schedule.
• Coordinate buyout, subcontracts, and bid packages with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain the project schedule; monitor resources and budgets.
• Prepare monthly cost and margin forecasts; report project status.
