Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Beaverton, OR is seeking an experienced Project Manager 2 to provide direction on moderately complex construction projects, aligning with the company’s strategy and values. You will manage preconstruction, submittals, subcontractor coordination, schedule development, budgeting, and risk analysis to deliver projects on time and within scope.

The role requires 7+ years in construction management, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and a strong ability to lead safety

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
  • Equivalent relevant experience considered in lieu of the above requirement.
  • 7+ years of construction management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead safety culture and ensure an injury‑free environment.
  • Manage preconstruction tasks including take‑offs, scope and bid packages.
  • Coordinate submittals, shop drawings, and change requests with stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage project schedule, procurement logs, and budget tracking.
  • Lead subcontractor selection, pricing reviews, and risk analysis throughout the project.
  • Prepare monthly cost and margin forecasts and drive project closeout.
