Job summary

Dennis Group is seeking a Construction Manager to supervise site operations for food and beverage process facilities. You will coordinate subcontractors, manage safety programs, and monitor schedule and budget on projects across the USA and Canada.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and the ability to work with owners, subs, and the A/E team. Travel up to 100% is expected, with a 10-on/4-off work pattern and hands-on field/office responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction science or related field preferred.
• Experience overseeing sub-contractors and driving the project schedule.
• Travel up to 100% and work 10 days onsite, 4 days off welcome fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities and coordination of subcontractors and site safety programs.
• Oversee field engineers or Jr Construction Managers as directed.
• Develop and update project scope, budget, and schedule with project management.
• Manage project accounting, budgeting, and cost management.
• Establish and maintain site safety procedures with the safety team.
• Oversee installation of process, mechanical and utility equipment.
• Handle permitting, codes, regulatory administration, and approvals.
• Coordinate submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project close-out activities.
• Coordinate field engineering and inspection activities; manage third-party testing.
• Engage with owners, subs, building officials, and A/E teams to ensure progress and communications.
• Prepare and administer third-party agreements; prepare work plans and packages.
