Job summary

Dennis Group is seeking a Construction Manager to lead site supervision on food and beverage process facilities across the USA and Canada. You will supervise subcontractors, manage safety programs, and coordinate with multiple engineering teams to protect project scope, budget, and schedule.

The role requires strong communication, ability to work with owners and A/E teams, and hands-on oversight of field engineering, permits, and instrumentation installations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction science, building science, construction engineering or a related field is strongly preferred.
• Design-build experience on industrial projects is strongly preferred.
• Overseeing subcontractors and driving the project schedule.
• Client interaction experience - strong technical, organizational, managerial, and communication skills.
• Progressively responsible job site experience on industrial building projects.
• Fundamental understanding of all phases of construction; ability to read/interpret documents, schedules, and budgets.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD is a plus.
• Up to 100% travel to projects in the USA and possibly Canada.
• Work schedule: 10 days onsite, 4 days off.

Responsibilities

• Daily supervision of construction activities including coordination of subcontractors and site safety programs.
• Oversee field engineers or junior construction managers as directed.
• Oversee development and update of project scope, budget, and schedule.
• Manage project accounting, budgeting, and cost management.
• Establish and maintain site safety procedures with the safety team.
• Oversee installation of process, mechanical and utility equipment.
• Coordinate permits, codes, and regulatory approvals.
• Review submittals, RFIs, change orders; manage communications with owners and subcontractors.
• Coordinate project close-out activities and deliverables.
• Provide coaching and mentoring as directed by supervisor.
