Job summary

Dennis Group is seeking a Construction Manager to supervise site operations for food/BEV process facilities across the USA/Canada. You will coordinate subcontractors, enforce safety programs, manage schedules and budgets, and liaise with owners, subs, and A/E teams to keep projects on track.

The role requires strong communication, field and office management skills, and the ability to travel up to 100% as project needs arise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction science, building science, construction engineering or related field.
• 4+ years design-build experience on industrial projects.
• 4+ years coordinating subcontractors and driving project schedule.
• 4+ years client interaction with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, schedules, and budgets.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Daily supervision of construction activities including coordination of subcontractors and site safety programs.
• Oversedight of field engineers or junior Construction Managers as directed.
• Oversee medium-sized projects autonomously.
• Develop and update project scope, budget, and schedule.
• Project accounting, budgeting, and cost management.
• Establish and maintain site safety procedures with the safety team.
• Oversee process, mechanical and utility equipment installations.
• Coordinate field engineering and inspections.
• Manage third-party testing and relationships.
• Prepare and administer third-party agreements.
• Prepare project reports and logs.
• Ensure schedule compliance with subcontractors.
