Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Project Manager 1 to provide direction for complex projects in coordination with the Project Superintendent. The role builds client relationships and drives scope from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategy and safety standards.

The role requires overseeing scheduling, budgeting, procurement, risk analysis, and subcontractor management, with emphasis on Lean processes and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 5+ years construction management experience.
• Experience leading safety culture and coordinating with design teams.

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of the company’s safety culture and creates awareness.
• Manages the prestart process and submittal schedule.
• Keeps project schedule aligned with Project Superintendent using Lean methods.
• Coordinates with stakeholders including subcontractors, owner, design team and vendors.
• Delivers regular reporting and analysis on project status and profitability.
