Job summary

B&B Concrete seeks a concrete project superintendent to plan and coordinate concrete construction, supervise the concrete portions of projects, ensure quality, maintain schedules, and follow the budget while upholding safety and company standards.

The role requires weekly on-site coordination with Operations managers and Project Management for manpower/resource scheduling and effective project communication and execution.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in concrete construction.
• Ability to supervise employees and manage budget and schedule.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Spanish speaking ability for field coordination and communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Operations managers for concrete schedules and operations.
• Daily on-site supervision of concrete construction processes.
• Ensure adherence to budget for manpower and material expenditures.
• Organize and schedule field labor and ensure performance.
• Coordinate with subcontractors for planning and harmony of work.
• Maintain quality of concrete construction and monitor budget.
• Track project progress daily and report status weekly.
• Record and report time for field manpower accurately.
• Identify delays or issues and propose corrective actions.
