Job summary

B&B Concrete is seeking a project superintendent to plan and coordinate concrete construction on site. You will supervise all concrete operations, ensure quality, keep the schedule on track, and manage the budget to plan.

The role requires coordinating weekly with Operations managers and Project Management, directing field labor, maintaining safety standards, and communicating with subcontractors. Spanish-speaking ability is preferred; 6+ years in concrete construction is expected.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in concrete construction.
• Ability to supervise construction employees within budget and schedule.
• Strong communication with management, owners, trades and subcontractors.
• Spanish speaking skills for field communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Operations managers for concrete schedules/operations.
• On-site supervision of all concrete construction processes.
• Ensure that the budget is followed in terms manpower productions and material expenditures.
• Organize and schedule the field labor and ensure that they are performing as required.
• Coordinate with other subcontractors and ensure proper planning and work harmony.
• Ensure that quality is preserved in the concrete construction process and that the budget is maintained.
• Track and report project progress on a daily and weekly basis.
• Track and accurately capture/report time for the field manpower they oversee.
• Continuously monitor productivity and percentage complete, identifying problems and potential delays, and provide solutions to overcome and delays or challenges.
