American Traveler seeks a Surgical Tech for a Cardiovascular Operating Room position in Washington. Requires at least 2 years of experience and BLS certification, with EPIC EMR experience preferred. WA state license is required for CVOR Tech if applicable.

You will join a Level 3 trauma hospital CVOR with multiple OR suites, handling 22-45 cases daily across three specialties, with day shifts and on-call duties. Housing support and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• Washington state license required for CVOR Tech position (license required if applicable).
• National certification not required.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.
• Driver's license copy required for consideration.
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Acute care hospital setting with a Level 3 trauma designation.
• CVOR unit with 7 main OR suites handling 22-45 cases per day across three specialties.
• Inpatient and outpatient case mix with 35-40% add-on cases.
• Common case types include general surgery, bowel resection, robotic surgery, GYN, urology, TURP, cystoscopy, lithotripsy, and some bariatrics and plastics.
• No neuro or ortho cases in this main OR.
• Uses EPIC EMR.
• Day shift with options for 4x10s (0630-1700) or 5x8s (0715-1500).
• Weekday and weekend coverage required with possible holiday call.
• On-call requirement of 5-6 call days with call hours from 9PM to 0630.
• Weekend call includes 12-hour day and night shifts.
• Call response time is 30 minutes.
• Potential to float from CVOR to Main OR.
