American Traveler, LLC. seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for CVOR with 2 years in cardiac, vascular, and thoracic cases. BLS and NBSTSA required; NCCT may be considered.

License required if applicable. First assignments may be travelers to a hospital with 15 ORs and a hybrid room, schedule 6:30 AM–5 PM. Join a team supporting cardiac, vascular, thoracic, and robotic cases, with housing allowance, licensure reimbursement, and per diem.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years CVOR experience required.
• BLS and NBSTSA certifications required; NCCT may be considered.
• A valid license is required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Hospital setting with 15 ORs plus a hybrid room.
• Average 45 cases per day in OR and CVOR.
• Cardiac, hybrid, vascular, thoracic, and thoracic robotics cases.
• Day shift 6:30 AM–5:00 PM.
• No floating; weekend rotation required.
• On-call 1 day/week and 1 weekend every 4 weeks.

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a CVOR position requiring 2 years of experience in cardiac, vascular, and thoracic cases.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required in CVOR specialty area


• BLS certification required


• NBSTSA certification required; NCCT may be considered


• License required if applicable


• Experience with cardiac, vascular, thoracic, hybrid, and robotic thoracic cases required

Responsibilities

• Hospital setting with 15 ORs plus a hybrid room shared with the Cath Lab


• Averages 45 cases per day between OR and CVOR


• Patient population includes cardiac, hybrid, vascular, thoracic, and thoracic robotics cases


• Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 5 PM


• No floating required


• Weekend rotation required when scheduled


• On-call duty 1 day per week (Monday-Friday) and 1 weekend every 4 weeks (Saturday/Sunday)


• Uses Cerner EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, cell saver, Belmont rapid infuser, glucometer, and Davinci robotics


• First-time travelers will be considered


• Work alongside a support team including Charge RN, staff nurses, CNAs, and fellow CSTs


• First week of orientation paired with a preceptor, followed by rotation through CV, Vascular, Thoracic, and Hybrid areas


• Holiday coverage expected approximately 50% of the time or more based on need


• RTO requests must be approved by the manager in advance


• Scrubs are provided


• Schedule is issued in 4-week increments, with 8 weeks provided approximately 2 weeks in advance
