Job summary

American Traveler seeks a CVOR Technologist (CST) for a Rapid Response travel assignment in the Colorado market, requiring at least 1 year of acute care CVOR experience and open heart proficiency. The role supports a multi-hospital system with a 3-campus footprint.

Day shift is 6:00 AM–6:00 PM with no weekends; candidates must be willing to float among HCA HealthONE Aurora and Swedish within 25 miles. On-call duties with a 30-minute response time and travel/licensure reimbursements are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care CVOR Tech hospital experience.
• BLS certification required.
• NBSTSA certification required.
• State licensure required if applicable (CO).
• Must be proficient in open heart procedures.
• Preferred experience with Meditech EMR.
• Preferred prior travel CVOR Tech experience in large trauma facilities.
• Preferred cardiovascular experience.
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration.
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Hospital OR Heart Team department supporting a 3-campus market with 15 CV-focused staff.
• Day shift teams consist of 2 RNs and 1 CST, with 1:1 patient ratios.
• Uses GE/Stryker equipment and Meditech/CPN EMR.
• Day shift schedule from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM with no weekends.
• Candidates will float between HCA HealthONE Aurora and Swedish, within 25 miles of the facility when needed.
• On-call required with a 30 minute response time, details discussed at interview.
• Common procedures include CABG, AAA, TAVR, and valve replacements.
• Support cardiovascular surgical procedures including CABG, AAA, TAVR, and valve replacements.
• Work closely with a dedicated CV team prioritizing patient experience and strong communication with staff and providers.
• Ideal candidates are flexible, confident, and strong team players.
• Radius rule of 50 miles applies; local candidates will not be considered.
• One professional reference required (two required for Florida and Missouri).
