American Traveler seeks a Surgical Technologist for a Cardiovascular OR position in Kalispell, MT. Requires 2 years CV OR experience and CST certification. BLS and CST certification are required; license if applicable.

You will work in a 16-room CVOR with a team including surgeon, first assist, PA, RN and perfusionist, using Meditech EMR for documentation. Shifts are 8 hours (0600/0700), with on-call rotation every third day and every third weekend, and potential travel considerations for

Formación

• 2+ years cardiovascular OR experience
• BLS and CST certification required
• License required if applicable
• Comfort working across CV specialties (General, Robotics, Neuro, Pediatrics, Ortho, Trauma, Urology)
• Experience with CV procedures (CABG, TAVR, AVR, MVR)

Responsabilidades

• Manage CVOR within a 16-room department
• Handle 1–2 CV cases per day
• Care for patients undergoing CABG, TAVR, AVR, MVR and related procedures
• Collaborate with surgeon, first assist, PA, RN, perfusionist
• Document using Meditech EMR
• Float to Main OR and OR North as needed
• 8-hour day shifts, 0600/0700 starts
• On-call rotation every 3 days and every 3 weekends
• Respond within 30 minutes for calls
• May serve as backup trauma call and work on-call during holidays
• Department supported by nursing and surgical team
• Fast-paced unit culture
• Scrubs provided; free parking
• Orientation up to 2 weeks
• RTO requires manager approval
• First-time travelers considered

• Minimum 2 years of cardiovascular OR experience required
• BLS and CST certification required
• License required if applicable
• Must be comfortable working in General, Robotics, Neuro, Pediatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and Urology cases
• Experience with CV procedures including CABG, TAVR, AVR, MVR, and related cases required

Responsibilities

• Cardiovascular OR within a 16-room total OR department
• Average 1-2 CV cases per day
• Patient population includes CABG, TAVR, AVR, MVR, sternotomy, thoracotomy/thoracoscopy, VATs, aortic repairs, fistulas, peripheral cases, fem-pops, carotid endarterectomies, and thoracic robotics
• Room team includes 1 surgeon, 1 first assist, 1 surgical tech, 1 PA, 1 RN, and 1 perfusionist
• Meditech EMR used for documentation
• Floating required to Main OR and OR North at the same facility
• 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with start times of 0600/0700 depending on case schedule
• On-call rotation once every third day and every third weekend, shared with two other CVOR techs
• 30-minute response time required for call
• May serve as backup trauma call while on call
• May be required to work on-call during holidays
• Department supported by charge nurse, CSTs, first assists, surgeons, anesthesiologists, RNs, management, and perfusionists
• Fast-paced unit culture
• Scrubs provided and free parking available
• Facility orientation up to 2 weeks
• RTO requests require manager approval
• First-time travelers considered, though travel experience preferred
