Job summary

American Traveler Staffing Professionals is seeking a Travel Surgical Tech/ORT - CST for a CVOR unit in Kansas. The position is a day shift with on-call duties, in a facility restarting its ECMO program. Must have at least 6 months CVOR experience, BLS and NBSTA certifications, and vascular training.

Open Heart procedures, CABG, AVR, MVR, and TAVR are typical, with on-site lodging and meal stipends possible. KS license required if applicable; ACS/Meditech experience preferred.

Qualifications

Minimum 6 months of current CVOR Tech hospital experience.
BLS certification required.
NBSTA certification required.
Must be vascular trained.
Active KS license required if applicable.
ACLS certification preferred.
Open Heart and Cardiovascular experience preferred.
Prior Meditech experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Day shift coverage includes 1 CVOR RN and 1 CVOR CST, with no night shift.
On-call requirements include 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month.
Typical procedures include CABG, AVR, MVR, and TAVR.
Open Heart unit with 2 heart rooms and a possible 3rd.
