Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for an afternoon OR position in New York, supporting general, orthopedic, vascular and urology cases. The role requires BLS and NBSTSA certifications, and a valid license if applicable. Orientation completion is also expected.

The assignment runs for 13 weeks with a 12:30pm–11pm shift, four days per week, Wednesdays off. Travel experience is highly preferred and an on-call requirement exists.

Qualifications

• BLS certification is required.
• NBSTSA certification is required.
• License is required if applicable.
• Proficiency in general surgery, orthopedic fracture care, vascular and urology procedures is required.

Responsibilities

• Support in the operating room for general surgery, orthopedic fracture care, vascular and urology procedures.
• Afternoon shift 12:30pm-11pm, 4 days per week with Wednesdays off.
• Flexibility to switch to day shift if needed.
• On-call approximately once per month.
• 13-week assignment length.
• Travel experience highly preferred.
• No more than 5 days of time off (RTO).
• Permanent address must match Driver's License or State ID on file.
