Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for day shift travel assignments in NH and surrounding areas. Proficiency across general, orthopedic, GYN, urology, and sports medicine cases is required.

You will work a 40-hour week with 8- and 10-hour shifts, plus a rotating weekend schedule and on-call shifts. McKesson EMR experience is expected. Housing and licensure reimbursements are provided.

Qualifications

• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• NBSTSA or TS-C (NCCT) Surgical Tech certification is required.
• NH Medical Technician certification is required and must be in hand prior to consideration.
• Compact license is accepted.
• License required if applicable.
• Surgical Tech skills checklist demonstrating proficiency in total joints and C-sections is required.
• One supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment is required.
• Previous travel experience is highly preferred.
• NBSTSA certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate in an OR setting within a Level III trauma hospital.
• Care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Proficient in General, Ortho (including Total Joints), GYN (including C-sections), Urology, and Sports Medicine/Spine cases.
• Day shift schedule averaging 40 hours per week with a mix of 8 and 10 hour shifts.
• Weekend rotation required approximately every 4th-6th weekend (Fri afternoon to Mon morning).
• On-call requirement of 6-7 shifts per month, including overnight calls.
• Use McKesson EMR system.
• Candidates must reside 50+ miles from the facility; local candidates will not be considered.
• RTO requests cannot exceed 3 days.
• All licenses and certifications must be current at time of consideration.
