The assignment is a 13-week travel opportunity with weekday shifts (0645–1515). Candidates must have BLS and current licensure verification within 30 days of start; on-call coverage may be required and local candidates are considered with potential pay-rate adjustments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of recent full-time OR experience as a Surgical Technologist
• Demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of orthopedic surgical procedures
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start of assignment
• Two verifiable references from prior travel assignments confirming no additional training was required

Responsibilities

• Hospital operating room setting within the Orthopedic Service Line
• Supports all types of orthopedic procedures including total joint arthroplasties (hip, knee, shoulder, ankle), fracture repair, arthroscopic and sports medicine cases
• Weekday schedule of five shifts from 0645 to 1515
• May require arrival as early as 5:45am to accommodate case start times of 6:30am
• Periodic floating to other services based on departmental needs
• Participation in on-call coverage after normal business hours and on weekends
• 13-week assignment length
• Provide direct surgical support for a wide range of orthopedic procedures
• Work in a fast-paced environment requiring the ability to quickly adapt without extensive orientation
• Must be comfortable with early arrival times to ensure on-time case starts
• Accepts local candidates, though a radius rule may apply and could affect pay rate
• US Social Security Number and US home address required for consideration
