Job summary

Layton Construction is seeking a Superintendent for data center construction projects in Utah. You will oversee daily site operations, scheduling, production, and procurement, coordinating with the Project Manager and subcontractors to meet the project schedule.

The role requires at least 5 years of data center construction experience, strong management and communication skills, and the ability to travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction field and 5+ years of data center construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes and code compliance.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.
• Clear written and verbal communication; reads blueprints accurately.

Responsibilities

• Plan procedures and staffing for each phase based on project schedules.
• Develop and use look ahead schedules to assess progress and issues.
• Coordinate pre-construction and mobilization meetings with PM and subs.
• Direct procurement of tools and materials to meet schedules.
• Ensure progress updates with clients, subs, and project team; resolve issues.
