Job summary

Cherry Hill Free Clinic, Inc. seeks a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders. You will design individualized plans and track patient progress while educating patients and caregivers on strategies and safety.

Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, you’ll maintain thorough documentation and uphold safety and regulatory standards across diverse patient populations.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong critical thinking, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to perform therapy tasks physically and safely.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans; monitor progress.

Job description

Role:

A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized therapy plans, assess patient progress, educate patients and caregivers on communication strategies and safe swallowing practices, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, maintain detailed documentation, and adhere to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

Valid state licensure, current BLS certification, strong critical thinking, interpersonal, and technical skills, physical ability to perform therapy tasks, and effective communication in English. Experience in speech therapy is preferred; new graduates are welcome.

Key Duties:

Utilize assessments to evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing, design personalized treatment plans, monitor and adjust therapy, provide patient education, coordinate care with healthcare teams, ensure a safe environment, and participate in professional development.
