Role Overview:

A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations. They develop individualized treatment plans to improve speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing functions, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and caregivers to enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments using standardized tools and clinical observations, design and adjust therapy programs based on patient progress, document treatment activities accurately, and educate patients and families on communication strategies and safety practices. Maintain infection control standards, participate in professional development, and support overall patient care within scope of practice.

Qualifications & Skills:

Must hold a valid state license, current BLS certification, and possess critical thinking, interpersonal, and technical skills. Physical ability to assist with equipment and patient mobility, effective communication, and the capacity to work under pressure are essential.
