Job summary

DayToDay Health seeks a Travel Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations. Role includes assessments, therapy planning, and collaboration with clinical teams.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Current BLS certification.
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing issues.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on evaluations and goals.
• Monitor progress, adjust treatment, and document in EMR.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies and safety; provide counseling.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Ensure safe treatment environment with infection control and safety protocols.
• Engage in quality assurance and professional development.

Job description

Role: Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments using standardized tools and clinical observation to identify speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing issues.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on evaluations, patient goals, and evidence-based practices.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment strategies, and maintain detailed documentation in electronic medical records.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies, exercises, and swallowing safety, providing supportive counseling as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Ensure a safe treatment environment by adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
• Engage in quality assurance and professional development to stay current with best practices.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Current BLS certification.
• Preferred: Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP, and relevant experience (new grads welcome).
• Critical thinking, effective communication, interpersonal skills, and proficiency in PC use.
• Physical ability to assist with equipment, move patients, and perform necessary tasks.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle frequent public contact.
