Job summary

CARIN Alliance is seeking a Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across all ages. You will develop individualized therapy plans, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatments as needed.

Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and safe swallowing practices. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• Valid SLP license required for practice.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Proficiency in English; CCC-SLP and Master’s degree preferred.
• New graduates may apply; relevant experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Position: Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Role & Responsibilities: Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across all ages. Develop individualized therapy plans, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatments as needed. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and safe swallowing practices. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain documentation, adhere to safety protocols, and participate in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications & Skills: Valid SLP license, current BLS certification, and proficiency in English. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s or higher degree, CCC-SLP certification, and relevant experience—new grads are welcome. Must demonstrate critical thinking, strong interpersonal skills, physical ability to assist with equipment, and the capacity to work under pressure. Technical, motor, sensory, and mental skills are essential for effective performance.

Key Duties: Conduct assessments, design therapy programs, document patient progress, provide education, and coordinate care with team members. Ensure a safe, supportive environment and stay current with best practices.
