Job summary

Seacrest Behavioral Health in Soldotna, Alaska is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations.

You will develop individualized treatment plans, use standardized assessments, monitor progress, educate patients and families, and maintain accurate documentation while adhering to safety and quality protocols.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure and current BLS certification.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Experience in speech therapy preferred, but new graduates welcome.

Role

A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, utilize standardized assessments, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and safety practices while maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to safety protocols. Engage in quality improvement and professional growth activities.

Qualifications & Skills

Valid state licensure, current BLS certification, critical thinking, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency in PC use, physical ability to perform necessary movements, and the capacity to work effectively under pressure. Experience in speech therapy is preferred, but new graduates are welcome.

Key Duties
