Job summary

Seacrest Behavioral Health is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations. You will develop individualized therapy plans, monitor progress, and educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies and safety practices.

Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, you will ensure comprehensive care, maintain documentation, and participate in ongoing professional development and quality

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SLP license per state regulations and current BLS certification.
• Master’s or higher degree and CCC-SLP certification preferred; new graduates welcome.

The position is for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans, utilize standardized assessments, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and safety practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care, maintain documentation, and adhere to safety and regulatory standards.
• Engage in professional development and quality assurance activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Must hold a valid SLP license per state regulations and current BLS certification.
• Preferred qualifications include a Master’s or higher degree, CCC-SLP certification, and relevant experience—though new graduates are welcome.
• Essential skills include critical thinking, excellent communication, PC proficiency, physical ability to assist with equipment, and the capacity to work under pressure with effective interpersonal skills.
