Job summary

Health, Inc. is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations in New York.

You will develop individualized treatment plans, work with interdisciplinary teams, educate patients and families, and maintain thorough documentation while upholding safety standards and continuing professional development. Qualifications

• Valid SLP license per state regulations.

Role

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) evaluates, diagnoses, and treats communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

Develops and implements individualized treatment plans, utilizes assessments, and collaborates with healthcare teams to enhance speech, language, and cognitive-communication skills. Educates patients and caregivers on communication strategies and safe swallowing practices, maintains accurate documentation, and adheres to safety protocols. Engages in professional development and quality assurance activities.

Qualifications & Skills

Valid SLP license per state regulations, current BLS certification. Preferred: Master’s or higher in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP, relevant experience or new graduates. Essential skills include critical thinking, communication, technical proficiency, physical ability to assist with procedures, and the capacity to work effectively under pressure.
