Role & Responsibilities:

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) evaluates, diagnoses, and treats communication and swallowing disorders across all ages. Key duties include designing personalized therapy plans, assessing patient progress, educating patients and caregivers, collaborating with healthcare teams, maintaining documentation, and ensuring safety and infection control standards. The SLP engages in professional development and quality assurance activities while providing supportive care to improve patient communication and overall quality of life.

Qualifications & Skills:

Candidates must hold a valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist and current BLS certification. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree or higher, CCC in Speech-Language Pathology, and previous experience, though new graduates are welcome. Essential skills include critical thinking, excellent communication, interpersonal skills, proficiency in PC use, and physical ability to assist with patient procedures.
