Job summary

CARIN Alliance is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist in Torrance, CA to evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders. You will develop tailored, evidence-based therapy plans and monitor patient progress, educating families and caregivers on strategies and safe swallowing practices.

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, ensure accurate documentation, and adhere to safety and quality initiatives while performing duties within your scope of practice.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure and current BLS certification.
• Master's or higher in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP preferred).
• CCC-SLP certification and relevant experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
• Visual acuity and sensory awareness; ability to follow instructions.

Role & Responsibilities: The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) evaluates, diagnoses, and treats communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations. They develop individualized, evidence-based therapy plans, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatments accordingly. The SLP educates patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and safe swallowing practices, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care, and maintains accurate documentation. Qualifications & Skills: Candidates must hold a valid state licensure and current BLS certification. Preferred qualifications include a Master's or higher degree in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP certification, and relevant experience-though new graduates are welcome.
