Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Travel Sous Chef to support communities across Missouri, including Ballwin, Saint Charles, Saint Peters, and Wentzville. The position is full-time with a starting wage of $27.00 per hour and varied shift schedules to accommodate travel.

You will ensure culinary standards, lead kitchen operations, and be ready to travel to multiple Arrow communities to cover shifts as needed. Strong leadership, cooking skills, and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years of age.
• Ability to travel to multiple Arrow communities within assigned territory.
• 3+ years experience in senior housing or related field (preferred).
• Demonstrated leadership, training, and supervision skills.
• Proficient written and oral communication with management, professionals, and staff.
• Completed formal culinary, food service or restaurant training or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food items are prepared to culinary standards while providing residents with an exceptional dining experience and minimizing waste.
• Supervise and inspect culinary service, logs, equipment, storage rotation, and sanitation to stay up-to-date and clean.
• Lead team in day-to-day operations through engagement, coaching and accountability.
• Travel to and support Arrow communities within the designated territory to cover Sous Chef shifts.
