Arrow Senior Living in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Sous Chef to join our culinary team. This full-time role prepares meals to culinary standards and supports residents with a high-quality dining experience.

Shifts Tue-Sat 6:30am-2:30pm; pay range $25.50-$30/hour. Candidates should have 3+ years in senior housing or related field; must lift up to 50 pounds and work in temperature-controlled environments.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience in senior housing or related field preferred (3+ years).
• Demonstrated leadership, training and supervision skills.
• Proficient written and oral communication with management and staff.
• Completed formal culinary/food service training or equivalent supervisory experience.
• Able to create, modify, and print documents using Word and Excel.
• Able to send/receive emails.

Responsibilities

• Gustatory Genius: ensure meals meet culinary standards and residents receive quality dining with portion control.
• Kitchen Curator: supervise culinary service, logs, equipment, storage, and sanitation.
• Culinary Captain: lead team daily with coaching and accountability.
