Job summary

AAA Auto Club Enterprises seeks a Travel Advisor to sell a range of travel products to members and non-members while maintaining high service levels. You will manage quotes, advise on requirements, and support outbound efforts to meet sales targets.

The role requires travel knowledge, strong communication, and system proficiency. Responsibilities include booking air, car, hotel, rail, and tickets; maintaining accurate records and confidentiality; staying updated on supplier programs and travel

Qualifications

• Advanced verbal and written communication skills required.
• Moderate analytical and time management skills required.
• Ability to create and deliver presentations.
• Advanced knowledge and training on computer systems used to fulfill member travel requests and travel agency accounting systems preferred.
• General typing, Windows, Outlook, Word, and Internet/Intranet access skills required.
• General knowledge of Club systems, including but not limited to; TSTApollo, Viewpoint and various preferred vendor websites used to secure cruise and tour packages as well as Travel Insurance.
• Proven track record in travel sales.
• Must maintain systems knowledge for ticketing of airlines, cruises and rail.
• Flexibility to work weekends, flexible hours, and to attend offsite training and events is essential.

Responsibilities

• Sell foreign and domestic travel related products and services to members and non-members; enter quotes in club technology; advise clients on travel requirements and related info; meet sales and cross-sell goals; issue international driving permits and passport photos; arrange air, car, hotel, rail reservations and ticketing.
• Track and maintain all transactions with accuracy, including payment processing, travel documents, and confidentiality of client information.
• Maintain expertise on all club products, services, and preferred supplier programs; research and compare supplier rates; propose trip options based on client budgets and preferences.
