AAA Auto Club Enterprises is seeking an experienced Travel Advisor to sell a range of travel products to members and non-members while maintaining high service standards. You will educate clients on travel requirements, protect plans, and trip advisory information, using lead management tools to build a base of repeat business.

Responsibilities include booking air, car, hotel, rail, and cruise, maintaining accuracy of transactions, and meeting sales goals.

Formación

• High School GED Required.
• Associates Preferred.
• 4-6 years Travel agency or sales experience.
• Knowledge of organization’s products, services, and branch operations desirable.
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills required.
• Moderate analytical and time management skills required.
• Ability to create and deliver presentations.
• Advanced knowledge of computer systems used for member travel requests and accounting systems preferred.
• General typing, Windows, Outlook, Word, and Internet/Intranet access skills required.
• Knowledge of Club systems (TSTApollo, Viewpoint) and vendor websites for cruises and travel insurance.
• Proven track record in travel sales.
• Must maintain systems knowledge for ticketing (airlines, cruises, rail).
• Flexibility to work weekends and attend offsite training/events.

Responsabilidades

• Sell foreign and domestic travel products and services using lead management tools.
• Maintain accurate transaction records with required documentation.
• Provide travel advice on requirements, protection plans, and trip information.
• Aim to meet sales and cross-sell goals while delivering high service quality.
• Identify cross-sell/up-sell opportunities and share leads with other departments.
• Manage administrative tasks including wage/hour compliance and expense reports.
• Independently analyze cruise/tour packages and provider options.
• Satisfy client expectations for first-time and experienced travelers.
• Avoid delays and resolve issues with escalation when needed.
• Document decisions and write-offs or shortages clearly to management.
