Job summary

AAA Auto Club Enterprises is seeking a Travel Consultant to sell travel products and services to members and non-members while delivering high levels of service. The role includes handling outbound calls, advising on travel requirements, and supporting the club's preferred supplier program.

Travel Advisors research rates, prepare quotes, issue tickets for air, car, hotel, rail, and passport services, and maintain confidentiality of client information in line with laws and club policies.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years travel agency or sales experience.
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills required.
• Moderate analytical and time management skills required.
• Ability to create and deliver presentations.
• Advanced knowledge of computer systems used to fulfill member travel requests.

Responsibilities

• Sell foreign and domestic travel products and services and manage quotes in club technology.
• Advise clients on travel requirements, protection plans, and trip information.
• Maintain records and comply with policies; support sales goals and cross-sell.
• Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities and provide leads to other departments.
• Maintain administrative requirements and document decisions.
