Job summary

Wonder, a Boston-based innovator in automated kitchens, is seeking a Robotics Field Technician to join the Deployment & Applications team. You will travel to deployment sites across markets to install and commission robotic food systems, perform mechanical and electrical work, and ensure quality and safety on site.

Qualifications include 2+ years as a robotics/tech professional, strong hands-on skills, and ability to travel up to 75% with a personal vehicle.

Qualifications

2+ years of related work experience as a service/robotics technician or similar role.
Able to troubleshoot across mechanical, pneumatic, plumbing, electrical and controls systems.
Strong hands-on skills with mechanical assemblies and wiring.
Willing to travel up to 75% and have access to a personal vehicle.
Clear written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

Travel to deployment locations to install and commission robotic systems.
Perform mechanical installation, electrical wiring, pneumatic plumbing, and hardware installation.
Work independently or with others, coordinating with deployment leadership.
Support system checkout, commissioning, inspections, and punch-list items.
Document observations and suggest process improvements.
Maintain safe, organized job sites and high-quality workmanship.
Prepare equipment and test materials for lab and field testing.
Create and update test records and SOP feedback.
