Job summary

Wonder in Boston, MA is seeking a Robotics Field Technician to join the Deployment and Applications team. This full-time hourly role involves traveling to deployment sites to install and commission robotic food systems, performing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic installations, and supporting lab applications in the Boston Lab.

You will work with engineering leads, document field observations, and contribute to safe, professional deployments.

Qualifications

2+ years in robotics or service tech.
Ability to travel up to 75%.
Able to perform first-level troubleshooting across mechanical, pneumatic, plumbing, electrical, and controls-related systems.
Hands-on experience with mechanical assemblies and tools.
Proficient with basic electrical wiring and pneumatic plumbing.

Responsibilities

Travel to deployment locations to install and commission robotic food systems.
Install mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hardware per drawings, checklists, and SOPs.
Work independently and with other technicians; coordinate with the DAE.
Support system checkout and commissioning with inspections and adjustments.
Document field observations and suggest deployment improvements.
Maintain a safe, organized worksite and deliver high-quality work on schedule.
Execute applications tests and prepare test materials and data.
Assemble, inspect, and validate prototype parts and systems under engineering direction.
Maintain lab organization and support equipment handling and SOP feedback.
