Job summary

Wonder in New York is seeking a driven Robotic Systems Engineering Intern to help build, deploy, and support automated technology powering Wonder’s restaurants. Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related engineering field.
At least 2 years of hands-on experience through internships, projects, or robotics activities.
Demonstrated hands-on aptitude with robotic or automated systems.
Foundational understanding of mechanical, electrical, controls, robotics principles.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with unfamiliar issues.
Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

Robotics & Automation: support development, deployment, and operation of robotic systems.
Systems Integration: work across mechanical, electrical, controls, software interfaces.
Sustaining Engineering: assist reliability improvements for automation systems in Wonder locations.
New Automation Development: participate in prototyping and testing of concepts.
Deployment & Operational Readiness: help prepare systems for deployment and handoff.
Documentation & Scalability: create and improve deployment documentation.
