Job summary

Wonder in Boston, MA is hiring a Robotics Field Technician to install and commission automated kitchen systems across deployment sites. This full-time hourly position offers travel to various markets, with guaranteed hours during travel weeks and overtime paid on-site.

You will work with the Deployment & Applications team to perform mechanical installs, electrical wiring, and system testing, while documenting results and improving deployment procedures.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in related roles such as technician or robotics technician.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% and work in field deployments.
• Ability to troubleshoot across mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and controls systems.
• Strong documentation and communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Travel to deployment locations to install and commission robotic food systems.
• Perform mechanical installation, electrical wiring, pneumatic plumbing, and hardware installation per drawings.
• Support system checkout and commissioning with inspections and punch-list items.
• Identify unclear instructions and escalate issues before proceeding.
• Document field observations and suggest deployment improvements.
